How do I request Share Permissions for another persons calendar?
Remember, you do not need Share Permissions to view a person’s availability. Use the Scheduling Assistant to view your attendees’ availability. If you need to view more information than whether or not a person is available, you can request Share Permissions. • On the Navigation Bar under People’s Calendars select Open a Shared Calendar. • Type in the person’s name or click the Name button to perform a lookup. • Click OK. • If you do not currently have Share Permissions for the user, a dialogue box will appear asking if you would like to ask the person for Share Permissions. • Click Yes to request Share Permissions. • A Sharing Request email will be generated.
