WHAT ARE THE MAJOR DIFFERENCES KBS RUSTSEAL & POR15?
At first glance, KBS & POR15 products appear very similar as they both look & smell like paint, both are quite sticky & difficult to remove, and both have moisture-cured formulations. But beyond these similarities, there are some very specific & advanced differences. The most striking of which is KBS RustSeal Gloss Black & Satin Black finishes’ ability to withstand moderate levels of UV exposure before any cosmetic changes become evident. Extensive product testing has proven that KBS RustSeal can withstand up to 2 months of direct sunlight before any noticeable matting occurs and can withstand up to a year or more without any evidence of chalking. POR15, on the other hand, will matt and chalk within 2 weeks and rub off on your hands like soot within one month.
