Do anger management classes really work?

It certainly can’t hurt to try it. I’m not sure just how “abusive” your marriage is. I think anger management classes have a good chance of working if the abuse has not progressed to physical violence. My personal experience was being in an emotionally and physically abusive relationship for four years. At one point my bf did voluntarily attend anger management classes; sadly the abuse continued and I left him. We were never married, did not have children, and he also had drug and alcohol addictions. I should have left the relationship way before I did. My advice is that if your husband is physically abusive-don’t give him too many chances. Try the classes, if he is physically abusive in any way-leave him. It only gets worse.
