so I’ll go at this question a little differently. A pinhole camera is basically a dark place with a tiny hole at one end of it. Light enters this hole which works like a lens and projects an image on the back of the dark box or room. But the rules also say that the smaller the aperture, the longer the focal length which basically means that a pinhole camera will make very sharp images of things both close and far away. So, you create your box, put a pinhole in one end and a flap or tape over it to keep the light out, load the paper an appropriate distance from the pinhole and then open the flap (the shutter) for the right amount of time to expose the paper.
