How Does The Vortex Work?
The Vortex machine is powered from the truck’s diesel engine and the water used for cleaning is heated from the truck’s exhaust pipe. To operate the Vortex you simply leave the truck engine running with the transmission in park, engage the Vortex PTO (Power Take Off) from the Vortex instrument/control panel and adjust your cleaning settings.  The Power Take Off is mounted to the truck’s automatic transmission and transfers the energy from the diesel engine to the vacuum pump, water pump and Xentherm fluid transfer pump via a series of shaft, belts, and pulleys.
