Anemone Tentacle Regeneration?
Hello crew, quick question. I have a long tentacle anemone that apparently lost it’s tentacles. This guy was doing fine, he had moved to a location of his choice and was eating regularly. I came home one day and all the tentacles were missing, they appeared like maybe they were withdrawn into the foot but I guess not. About 2 weeks later new tentacles are growing. He is about half his original size now, the only change in the tank during this time was the addition of a red brittle star. Question, did he get eaten by the star or is this otherwise normal behavior? Thanks for any help!!!
