What is Email Responder?
Email Responder is an Email Response Management System. It is designed to make responding to large volumes of email faster, more accurate, and less expensive by automating parts of the process. When a message is delivered, Email Responder analyzes it and extracts certain information, such as the product or service mentioned and the customer’s name. Using user-generated rules, the program then automatically assigns the message either to a particular person or to a user-defined group (such as “electronics sales”). When answering a message, the user has access to pre-written answers called “Templates.” By using Templates, answers to common questions can be sent in only seconds, with no typing at all. Smart Fields in the Template are automatically replaced by the correct information, so that these pre-written answers can contain the customer’s name, the product name, a Web address for product information, and so forth.
