Who runs Duotropes Digest?
Duotrope’s Digest is run by very small admin team comprised of a few published writers and former editors, and is not affiliated with any outside businesses or organizations. We also have day jobs (having nothing to do with publishing), like regular folks. We set up Duotrope LLC, registered in the state of New Mexico, to provide more official legal standing for those of us who run the project and, more importantly, to allow us to open business accounts so we can accept check/money order contributions. We plan on keeping Duotrope’s Digest a free, donations-based resource for as long as we can afford to do so with the contributions we receive.
