OBD-I represents the manufacturer specific diagnostic systems that Ford, GM, and Chrysler used during the years ranging from (’82 – ’95) For Ford this was the EEC-IV diagnostics, for Chrysler it was the SCI Powertrain diagnostic system, and for GM it was the ALDL (Assembly Line Diagnostic Link). All references to OBD-I is referring to these systems.
