On several you can still visit historical remnants including old forts and military outposts. The islanders are very friendly and generally live in small villages along the coastlines. Many still make their living as fisherman or farmers. These islands remain largely ‘undiscovered’ by tourists and as a result their authentic Caribbean culture remains intact.
