WHAT IS THE GOAL OF HEALING PRAYER?
This healing house is good for the city because whole persons make for whole communities, and the health of any city begins with the health of the individuals who live there. Our goal is wholeness of the total person: mind, body, and spirit. Healing may come in many ways. In seeking a reprieve from physical symptoms only, one might miss the healing that comes from addressing the inner issues of anger, depression, loss, grief, or bitterness. Lack of forgiveness, too, is a deadly illness of the soul and can be the root cause of a physical malady. Inner healing often manifests as physical healing. Our History Bethsaida House was founded in 2004 by Lynn and Ida Page, along with a board of directors, to bring a permanent healing ministry to the Columbus area. Current board members include: Mr. and Mrs. H. Lynn Page, Mrs. Betty Roberts, Mrs. Nancy Sheek, and Mrs. Helen Brooks.
