Do the hustle! The Hustle was popularized in the 1970’s as both a couples dance and a line dance. There are many versions of the line dance that are particular to the region or rather the clubs they were danced in. Both the couples and line versions consist of a step-touch-step-ball-change step not unlike the basic swing step. As opposed to many other ballroom dances, the hustle generally keeps to the driving beat of the music (1-2-3-4) and does not require the syncopation of quick step or salsa.
