why do people diss rap?
Everything is subjective. Rap is repetitive especially in regard to background noise. Rap usually has one loop of an oversimplified string of notes, playing over and over and over on a poor synth. Nothing about that is musical. Rap is distasteful in regard to its’ general content. You can give examples of x and y who are otherwise, but that doesn’t change the majority of rap. Rap is unoriginal, in the sense that rap artists borrow samples from other songs, to profit from them. Remixes are not indicative of talent or originality.
