The context was that a bachelor, whom they just named simply as Joe Millionaire, has just inherited several million dollars from a rich family member. And right now, is currently looking for a wife. He’ll be doing the search over national TV and all those who want to be his bride should come out and audition. This is how women from all across America are invited, screened, and included in the show. The idea is to have Joe just pick one woman from the roster and propose to be his bride. In the TV series, it is easy to see how women will do whatever it takes to be the wife of a millionaire. They compete with each other in terms of personality, allure, charisma, and charm.
