Is Alienware worth the money?
Hi I have been researching notebooks for a while and have narrowed it down to either the HP dv9500t or dv6500t or Alienware m9750 or m5550. I guess I was just wondering if anyone has had experience with any of these models and what their experience was. I am a college student and I currently have a dell inspiron 8600 that needs to be replaced soon. I haven’t really decided if I want to go the “thin and light” route with a laptop and maybe splurge for an alienware hangar media center or I could just get another “desktop replacement.” I currently take my bulky dell to class so i guess having something more portable and with better battery life would be great, but I don’t want to sacrifice a lot of performance. I know only a couple people that have alienware and they swear by them, but there are many mixed reviews out there about how alienware isn’t worth the money. I know the HP’s are cheaper and I like how HP offers a lot of accessories that I would get anyway like a docking station. Bu
