When was planet mars descovered?
Mars has been known since prehistoric times. and has been extensively studied through ground-based observatories. however due to its small size even large telescopes find it a difficult target. A lot of the the theorys and myth about mars have recently been put to rest by the succesful observations and landings on Mars by Mars Pathfinder 1997, Mars Expedition Rovers “Spirit” and “Opportunity”2004,and Phoenix landed in the northern plains to search for water in 2008.
