Are harpoon guns deadly?
Yeah, if you harpoon someone, they can bleed out. Most likely a deadly injury. Especially if you leave them ’til morning. Shooting someone for breaking into your house is not a crime. Leaving them to die and not calling until morning, just so you can sleep, that would be negligent homicide at the least. (I would think.) Can you own a taser in the U.K.? If someone breaks into your home the adrenaline is going to kick in, the last thing you are going to do is go back to sleep. Be reasonable.
