He is the God of the Sea and hidden treasures. Njord is one of the Vanir Gods who attacked Asgard during the Asgard/Vanir wars. He buried his ax deeply into the gates of Asgard. Njord was the first Vanir god into the battle. Njord could be compared to Neptune. He is the God of the Sea, god of the winds, seacoasts, sailing and fishing.
