How do you get rid of virtumonde?
My girlfriend got this trojan installed into my computer by trying to get a free keycode from the SIMS computer games online for the family fun pack. I ctrl+alt+deleted, to open my task manager (my whole desktop was invisible) – clicked file ran a new task (i typed control, but you could also try msconfig and do a system restore, but that didn’t work for me) got my start menu up and was able to access the internet. From the internet I looked up various spyware programs to rid this. I first downloaded spyware doctor and enabled their OnGuard feature, which disabled the trojan from accessing anything. This is a great program for ridding it, but it does cost money. (however you should download the OnGuard feature, which IS free, but doesn’t remove virtumonde) The only free spyware that 100% got rid of this was a free trial version of SUPERAntiSpyware. Follow the simple prompts and you’ll be rid of virtumonde!
