“Recently, I was asked this very question by an international business executive. While my answers were made in that context, they are also answers to your question. Traditional NLP Practitioner and Master Practitioner Courses train their participants to apply specific procedural techniques in one-to-one interactions. These trainings were originally and specifically designed as psychotherapist training programs. As these courses have attracted coaches, managers, sales people and professionals, there have been some modifications, but mostly for the increased size of the training groups. It continues to surprise me that many organizations still market these formats as if they were suitable for a business or professional context.
