What is Romp N Stomp??
Nestled in the southwest corner of Virginia in Grayson County is a piece of property we call Rock Bottom. For twenty five years we, Marion and Gordon Kay, have hosted a private party, Rock Bottom Romp ’n Stomp, for our family and friends. It started as a one day trek from Charlotte to the mountains for an afternoon of fun and food. Now our guests arrive from around the country on Labor Day Weekend with their children, grandchildren, friends and toys for a weekend of outdoor activities: camping, eating, skeet shooting, motorcycle riding, eating, crawdad hunting, creek walking, volleyball, eating, enjoying bluegrass music, sitting around campfires and making new friends.
