How do I stop food sticking to my wok?
Hot wok, cold oil… Foods won’t stick. At least that’s what a TV Chef used to say. 1. Season your wok. This ensures all the pores in the metal are filled in. 2. Don’t wash off the seasoning when you clean your wok. 3. Cook using a hot wok and room temp oil (in other words, let the wok heat up before adding oil)…. For a new wok, foods will tend to stick, but after awhile, the wok becomes seasoned and non-stick to a greater degree.
