Did Ashcrofts successor lie to Congress?
During testimony before Congress, Attorney-General Designate Alberto Gonzales was asked about reports that he helped President Bush slip out of pulling jury duty on a drunk driving case involving a dancer from a strip club in 1996. But now the judge and lawyers involved in that case are denying the Gonzalez account of that incident. by getting excused from jury duty he was able to avoid questions that would have required him to disclose his own 1976 arrest and conviction for driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI) in Kennebunkport, Maine Note: please delete this post.
