Inflatable boats are typically made of 2 different materials- Polymers or Synthetic Rubber. Synthetic Rubber is more commonly known by it’s trade name Hypalon. Polymer boats are made up of several different types of material. The 2 most common is PVC and Polyurethane. Some trade names that may fall under this category is Strongan and Sharc. You will also see the word Decitex in the fabric description. For our purposes all of these fall under the PVC category.
