What is Unido?
Established in 1966 it became a specialised agency of the United Nations in 1985. As a specialised agency, Unido has its own constitution, its own member states, its own policymakers, its own executive head and its own budget. It is the only organisation promoting the creation of wealth and tackling poverty through promoting businesses in poorer countries. What is Seeda? A Government funded agency set up in 1999 and responsible for the economic and social development of the south east. Seeda aims to be a “catalyst for change” working with organisations to help fund various projects and ensure businesses have the ability to compete on the market. With funding from the Government they are also able to help out financially.
