Where can I get more information about Waco Grocery Delivery?
A small grocery chain called Super Plaza has bought the former La Providencia store on 25th Street at Bosque Boulevard. But those who enjoyed the ethnic feel and emphasis on Hispanic merchandise of La Providencia need not worry. That tradition will continue with Irving-based Super Plaza. “We cater primarily to Hispanic customers, but Super Plaza offers to all customers a full line of fresh products, a cafeteria and a bakery,” said company spokeswoman Janet Alonso. Alonso said Super Plaza opened its first store in May 2007. It now operates 11 in six cities, with the buyout of four La Providencia locations. It does business in Waco, Mount Pleasant, Greenville, Gainesville and Garland, and also has three stores each in Dallas and Fort Worth. It employs 500 people at the 11 stores.
