What is a Multimedia/Hypermedia Project?
A multimedia project is one which uses media tools (text, graphics, animation, sound/music, and video) to develop a presentation for a wider audience. A hypermedia project is one which unites multimedia with hypertext, a nonsequential, non linear method of display created for use on the Web. In addition to using multimedia, the project must: be extended in time, be anchored in the core curriculum, involve extensive student decisions making, require small-group collaboration, have a clear real-world connection, and include methods for assessment during and at the end of the project.
