Is there no balm in Gilead?
Well, there is, but sometimes you just have to look at things from a different perspective. Balm comes in many manifestations, as I’m sure you know, and it doesn’t always come when we most need it. Sometimes all we can do is wait for it and be open to whatever form it may take. I am fortunate in that even in my darkest moments some aspects of the natural world soothe my soul. That gets me through the dark and winding tunnel at the end of which there always is a light, however dim. If you’re sad or having a difficult time please do know that you have friends.
