What are email hoaxes?
Email hoaxes are most often virus warnings veiled as an official warning from a respectable antivirus company. Often with a valid web address as proof. They typically warn that if you have a certain file on your machine or do this or that your system it is going to die or some evil computer crash will occur. There are many other forms of hoaxes such as a chain letter. They follow the same format as those by snail mail (e.g. If you don’t forward to so many people you will die an agonizing horrible death etc…). There are also other hoaxes that fall under a category of urban legends, charity based on sympathy, forward for cash and prizes, and don’t use this product because ~~~~~~.
