This will protect the surface of the copper from turning green and will also maintain the “NEW” look of the fountain through the years. 3. How do I clean the copper? Before the fountains leave our facility, we apply a generous coating of Pledge wax to the surface of the copper. We apply this over the Feng Shui Fusion Patina. This causes the water to bead up on the surface and prolongs the new copper look. Do not use copper cleaner, as this will turn the copper back to it’s original shiny finish.
