RISD recycles paper products through a districtwide program that has been in place for more than 10 years. Recycle bins are located at each campus, and a portion of the proceeds are allocated to the school where the donated recycling occurs. In addition, all district office facilities have recycling receptacles for paper to encourage participation. Individual buildings have the ability and authority to implement a plastic and aluminum recycling program.
