THE world’s most famous WAG, Lee Furlong, has moved into a home with her crciketing boyfriend Shane Watson. In a mark of his commitment to their relationship, Queenslander Watson recently moved to Sydney after signing to play for NSW next summer. Gallery: Australia’s sporting WAGs Furlong said that Watson, 27, and her had recently moved in together and have two one-year-old schnauzer maltese puppies, Clappo, named after their favourite musician Eric Clapton, and Bobbi. They have been dating since 2006 after meeting through friends. “They are the best company in the world, besides Shane of course,” Furlong says. “I am by myself a lot of the time when Shane is away so it’s good, they are your little buddies.” As Watson’s teammate Michael Clarke and his fiancee Lara Bingle get ready for their impending nuptials, Furlong says bells are not yet ringing for her and Watson. “I am only 23,” she says. “He just moved to Sydney which is really, really fantastic, so I think just one step at a time
LEE FURLONG Host One of the leading female sports presenters in the country, Lee Furlong, has been a key member of the Fox Sports News team since its launch in 2006. She has also taken on several hosting roles for Fox Sports including the Sports Australia Hall of Fame Awards. After completing a Bachelor of Communications in Journalism from Wollongong University, Lee’s first foray into television was presenting a nutrition and fitness segment on the Network Ten program ‘Seriously AFL’ – working with consultants from the Sydney Swans Football Club for a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to be a professional AFL player. In 2005 Lee hosted ‘The Sexiest Man in League’ competition, shown weekly on Ten’s Sports Tonight. Lee’s favourite sportspeople include Steve and Mark Waugh, Alan Border, Sachin Tendulkar, Roger Federer, Serena Williams, Lance Armstrong and Tiger Woods.
