Provided you are eligible for support from the Council, anyone over the age of eighteen with care and support needs may qualify for a Personal Budget, for example if: • You have a physical, learning or sensory disability • You have an age related illness or impairment • You have mental health problems This is subject to an assessment of your needs and your individual financial circumstances. If you are in transition from Children’s Services to Adult Services, you will be told your Indicative Personal Budget at 16 but will not receive any money until you are 18.
