Who is Peter Rabbit?
Peter Rabbit is the main character in Beatrix Potter’s beloved children’s book, The Tale of Peter Rabbit, first published in 1903. Peter, who lives with his mother and sisters, Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cotton-tail, has been warned not to go into Mr. McGregor’s garden. Peter’s Visit Peter Rabbit visited Ingersoll Public Library, a branch of Oxford County Library, on Saturday June 7, 2003, from 10:30-11:30 am. With Peter’s assistance, Early Years Coordinator Janet Stephens and Library Technician Lou Anne Tessier presented a variety of fingerplays, rhymes, and stories about rabbits.
