How will TG2 support vegetation?
Initially TG2 will support vegetation through general 3D model loading, distributing, and rendering functionality. We include tools like “Populators” to allow for automated distribution of thousands or even millions of instanced models. Currently supported model formats are OBJ, LWO, and our proprietary TGO formats. OBJ and TGO formats allow for full texture map loading and UV map support. LWO object support is more limited and objects must be textured within TG2.
