How do I create a MyID?
• Go to http://www.uga.edu/myid/ • Click on “Students” on the left under “Request a MyID” • Fill out the web form with the following information: • UGA Student ID Number a.k.a. Social Security Number • OASIS PIN • Desired username (2-8 characters in length. no special characters) • Initial password (at least 8 characters and at least one special character) • Click “Create MyID” • In most cases, the MyID should be created within about 15 minutes, but can sometimes take up to 2 hours to be completely ready. Common problems with OASIS PIN and MyID Creation: • The Registrar’s Office has the ability to reset an OASIS PIN to the user’s date of birth in a six-digit, mmddyy format. They can be reached at 542-4040. • Be advised that any OASIS PIN change made by the Registrar might not be recognized by the MyID creation system until 6AM the following day.
