Not recommended: Using a laser passed under the skin the laser melts the fat and liquefies it. Small areas then can be left for the body to absorb the fat without using a cannula. For larger areas a cannula must be inserted to aspirate the liquefied fat. I think this will have the most benefit for tiny areas, but for larger areas this will have little advantage because a cannula must still be used. A potential advantages may be more skin tightening, however, burning the skin from the heat of the laser is a real possibility.
