Is Mexico Safe for RVers?

I know folks are concerned about traveling to Mexico in their RV and I think I understand some of the reasons. I ask my audiences why they haven’t gone to Mexico in their RV (even though roughly 90% have traveled to Mexico and stayed in hotels) and I usually get pretty much the same answers. People tell me they are concerned about: 1) The roads 2) The water. 3) Crossing the border. 4) The Federales. 5) The food. 6) “Montezuma’s Revenge”. 7) The banditos oh yes, the famous banditos whom everyone has heard about, but almost no one has ever actually seen. When considering safety in Mexico I tell folks I have found Mexico to be very safe when a few common sense guidelines are followed.
