The Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) is one of the largest, non-profit, volunteer, sports organizations in the United States. A multi-sport organization, the AAU is dedicated exclusively to the promotion and development of amateur sports and physical fitness programs. Each age group will have a GA AAU State Basketball tournament to place qualifying teams to go to the AAU National tournaments. You must compete in the State tournament to go to the National tournament. Players who do not play with their teams in the State tournament will not be allowed to travel to the National tournament.
