How is cross-contamination prevented?
Cross contamination can occur when a surface is contaminated with bacteria (from food, for example). If the surface is not thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before another food is placed on the surface that new food will become contaminated as well. LYSOL® Kitchen Cleaner kills the bacteria on these surfaces and thus stops the spread of bacteria to other non-contaminated surfaces. It is necessary to sanitize surfaces and utensils to prevent cross contamination when preparing foods. LYSOL® Kitchen Cleaner should be used on the countertop or other food contact surfaces or utensils.
