Does WiSite use a modem?
No, our communication electronics are contained within the WiSite subscriber radio unit mounted outdoors on your building. WiSite does not require any connective to phone lines or any other wired communications service. The radio is connected to its power and data module which is placed within your business. The module is where your local area network equipment interfaces with the WiSite network.
