The ICDL is a series of seven tests taken in a proctored environment that measures the candidates knowledge of computers, their operating systems and the most popular suites of office software. The tests measure both knowledge and ability to perform tasks. Once all seven tests have been passed, the candidate it certified as an ICDL holder.
