If calibrating with span gas of 1.25% methane, span the instrument to 40% LEL to read 0-100% LEL propane, Refer to formula and cal factor list in manual: CH4 span gas x Calibration factor = % LEL (1.25 x 32 = 40). You will need to know the type of gas expected to be released, if there is a release to do this properly.
