How does eZcart work?
eZcart is a program written in PHP which allows your customers to create orders from your web-based catalog or on-line store. eZcart uses the same ‘add to cart’ method as the Paypal cart. Buyer’s browse through your catalog pages and click on a button or link for the items they wish to purchase. Each time an item is added to the cart, the buyer is shown the details of the order they have created so far. This includes the quanity and extended price, shipping charges, sales tax (if applicable) and the current amount due. The customer may then remove or edit the quantity of items shown, or click checkout to complete the order and payment process. Shipping charges and sales tax are re-caculated each time the order is changed!
