Who will have access to the DLN?
Once fully implemented, every Defence Team member will have ready access to the DLN. This includes every civilian and military member, regulars or reserve, whether he or she is located at HQ or in a remote location like Alert or on deployment overseas. During the Proof of Concept, DND/CF members can access the range of training, learning and career advisory (for civilians) services offered by their local Learning and Career Centre. (You’ll find the list of centres on the DLN website at http://hr3.ottawa-hull.mil.ca/dln-rad/.) During the POC, you’ll also be able to take courses over the Internet – including those being piloted on the DLN’s Learning Management System (LMS) – either at the LCC, or by borrowing a laptop and working at home.
