GoDB is primarily designed to develop data centric applications, unlike J2ME which is widely used to develop games. GoDB VM size is 500k only, where J2ME is 4MB. Everything has to be developed from scratch in J2ME, whereas in GoDB most of the components required for developing business apps like LookUpTable, EGRID, Signature are built in.
