How safe is Belize?
Though we have not had any safety concerns on our tours, crime can be a serious problem in Belize City. Travelers should take common sense precautions such as avoiding walking alone or at night and not carrying valuables. Hotels can store your valuables in a safe if desired. Outside of the city, pickpocketing can still be a concern around crowded tourist sites and resorts.
