AA Too Fast for RP?
MrGlass: I’ve always enjoyed a little RP. It’s fun when used in moderation, and there are some times where I have nothing better to do than write a few paragraphs on a video game. AA is hard to write for! I think I’ve narrowed it down… Most MMO’s aren’t as fast-paced as AA. I tend to write about things that happen, just in more interesting terms. Instead of “Fortika hit the auto-attack, occasionally using this skill,” I can write “Fortika’s attack was relentless, her blades never slowing down even after dozens of kills.” In AA, I can’t really do that. Everything moves fast, everything is exciting. Writing about it just slows it down and isn’t nearly as fun. There you have it! My opinion on why writing stories and fan-fic about AA is difficult! BilalKenna: IMHO, the lack of a rigid timeline in this game, as well as strict canon both helps and hinders the fan-fiction.
