There are 3 stages to R.O. filtration: 1. A pre-filter (PR1-25-OE) initially removes larger suspended particles from the raw water 2. Water is forced through the membrane leaving behind smaller dissolved particles 3. A carbon post-filter (XCTO-25-OE) polishes the water. Carbon particles readily absorb organic substances in the water for further improvement of taste and odour.
