What is MRSS?
STOP PRESS : The EGM on 24th September 2009 saw members vote to remove the 4-year rule which means that graduates can now remain as a graduate until such time they feel they are ready and able to obtain MRSS status. An individual can become a Member of the Register of Professional Practitioners of the Shiatsu Society (MRSS) by demonstrating that s/he has attained a satisfactory level of proficiency in professional Shiatsu practice. This may be determined through assessment by the Shiatsu Society and showing evidence of adequate continual professional development. MRSS members are included in the publicly available Register of Professional Practitioners of the Shiatsu Society. In order to be eligible to apply to join this Register, it is a requirement to have been a member of the Society for two consecutive years. (Some of you may be a bit puzzled as to why MRSS does not simply stand for ‘Member of the Professional Register of the Shiatsu Society’. This is because, with the way the Shia
MRSS was designed in 2004 by Media RSS community and Yahoo! MRSS or Media RSS is special kind RSS extension used for syndicating media files like video, image, audio etc. in RSS feeds. Today there is a lot of Media RSS community which allows for syndication of various media files like images, audio files and video files right inside an RSS feed.
